Model United Nations is an academic simulation of the United Nations where students play the role of delegates from different countries and attempt to solve real world issues with the policies and perspectives of their assigned country. It was the first MUN organized by 5 french schools located in the Gulf. It was a fascinating human experience made up of meetings and discussions around questions related to major issues of the contemporary world.

All the students found their place in this MUN meeting. They took part in high-level debates and made proposals leading to the drafting of a resolution.

Four LFIB students were distinguished for their work and were awarded the title of “Best Delegate” of their commission: Albinfalah Israa (ECOSOC), Fadhul Ali Tasneem (Human Rights Commission), Mechouet Abdelaziz (Security Council) and Murr Mya (Arctic Council).

Also, it is necessary to distinguish the work of the President and Vice-Presidents of the Human Rights Commission: De Suremain Foucaud, D’Hébrail Marin and Javitte Manuela who ensured the management of the Human Rights Commission whose subject: “The contribution of the heritage to a sustainable human development” was carried by the Lycée Français International de Bahreïn

The management and the teaching team of LFIB are very proud of all the students who have spared no effort during a school year of intricate preparation that lead to a lively and active weekend.
