As part of the sequence on movements and trajectories in technology, the sixth graders had to show their ingenuity. This investigation required them to transform a rotational movement into a translational one, using only cardboard and brads.
After a few attempts, the mechanisms were perfected and turned into a “piston-crank-crank” system. We note the precision of Diana and Zaïn’s realization but also the originality of Aloys and Ghassen’s realization, with a cam system.
Illiès had time to make a remarkable volume system, which will remain on display in the technology room.
These concrete realisations will allow us to better understand the functioning of the different motorisations that will be studied soon.
