Presentation of school catering
The quality of meals is an important element of well-being for students and staff of a school. The school catering team is committed to the fight against food waste and works as much as possible in short circuit, it makes every effort to satisfy its users.
The catering service takes place in the form of a self with a starter, a main course accompanied by its vegetables, dairy and dessert. It operates on Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday during the student attendance period.
Lunch time is a time that contributes to the quality of life in the institution and to the health of all, especially students who are given priority to welcome.
The instructions posted at the entrance of the restaurant must be respected. The menus presented are elaborated according to the food plan of the establishment, under the responsibility of the head of the establishment. Cases of allergy or special constraints must be the subject of an individualized reception project (PAI). Contact the college nurse.
Commission menu
The Menu Committee meets to study menu proposals over a period of five weeks.
The members of the Commission:
It consists of the head of the school or his assistant, the Manager, the elected students and parents, the nurse, the Chef de cuisine and the representative of the service provider.
The functions of the commission:
- Analyze the proposed menus for the coming period, give an opinion on the proposals made and raise possible problems related to catering for half-board services.
- Collect proposals for improvements to school catering (animation, etc.).
- Offer varied, balanced meals while respecting nutritional recommendations.
It also helps to introduce new flavors to all students and staff who have lunch at the school restaurant (Week of Taste, themed menu …).
