Opening Ceremony of the MUN Middle East 2025 in Bahrain

The French International School of Bahrain had the great pleasure of hosting, on Thursday, May 15, 2025, the opening ceremony of the Model United Nations – Middle East, which is being held this year in the Kingdom of Bahrain. This event brings together students from several schools in the region for a high-level diplomatic and oratorical exercise.

An edition placed under the sign of commitment

Five commissions are currently being debated on a theme of crucial importance: the fight against hunger in the world. This issue mobilizes the young participants who, through their work, seek to formulate concrete solutions, within a multilateral framework inspired by the functioning of the United Nations.

A memorable opening ceremony

The opening ceremony took place in an atmosphere that was both solemn and warm. It was marked by the presence of many diplomatic, institutional and educational personalities, testifying to the importance of this regional event.
