The European Week for Sustainable Development

On the occasion of the European Week for Sustainable Development, the students of the web radio prepared a special program where all the students talked about sustainable development, global warming, the 2030 Agenda. For their part, the WebTV students had the opportunity to visit the United Nations House in Bahrain. This enriching experience gave them a better understanding of the role of international institutions in promoting sustainable development and global cooperation. During this visit, the web radio team had the chance to interview Mr. Ahmed Ben Lassoued, the Director of the United Nations Information Center in Bahrain. Our young journalists asked relevant questions about ongoing initiatives and projects to tackle environmental challenges. Mr. Ben Lassoued took the time to explain the challenges of sustainable development as well as global warming. We would like to warmly thank Mr. Ben Lassoued for his availability and his welcome. This meeting deeply inspired our students and strengthened their interest in issues of sustainable development and global citizenship.
