Club MUN

Today we had the honor of welcoming our guests. First of all, Ahmed Ben Lassoued, an accomplished professional in the field of international affairs. Mr. Ben Lassoued holds a Master’s degree in Contemporary Philosophy from the École Normale Supérieure and a Research Master’s degree in Philosophy from the University of Paris-Sorbonne. He currently holds the position of Director at the United Nations in Bahrain. His extensive experience includes notable roles such as Director a.i. at UNIC Manama and Team Leader, Communications at the World Health Organization in Yemen.
Our second guest was Dr. John Fahy, a seasoned scholar with a PhD in Social Anthropology from the University of Cambridge, bringing over a decade of global experience in academic, policy and development. With successful project achievements spanning Europe, Africa, South Asia and the Middle East, he has a strong record of publications in anthropology and political science. Currently, as the Head of the Programme Support and Policy Development Unit at IOM – UN Migration in Bahrain.
We are grateful to them for their enlightening speeches, for answering all the questions from the MUN delegates, and for sharing their expertise on this year’s MUN theme as well as the issue.
