MLF 2030: two days to imagine together the school of tomorrow
A look back at the two days of MLF 2030 training organized on June 30 and July 1, 2026, just before the summer holidays, at the Lycée Français International de Bahrain.
For two days, the LFIB’s teaching and educational teams, from kindergarten to high school, met around a common reflection: how can we imagine the school of 2030 and change our practices to meet the educational challenges of tomorrow?
Led by Mrs. Delicolle, Mrs. Younan, Mrs. Citron and Mr. Boumendjel, these days allowed the staff to cross-reference their experiences, share their successes and collectively reflect on the profiles of the student of 2030 and the teacher of 2030.
The first day was punctuated by several collaborative activities, including the LFIB Passport, the Wall of Successes and a summary Kahoot. So many times for reflection that highlighted the practices already undertaken within the institution and identified new avenues for development.
On the second day, the collective dynamic continued through a collaborative bingo, the Souk of Ideas, dedicated to the promotion of projects already carried out and the emergence of new initiatives, as well as a game of stickers. The teams also worked to produce the portrait of the student of 2030, identifying the skills, attitudes and values that will allow young people to become autonomous, responsible citizens and open to the world.
These two days illustrated the richness of the collective work at LFIB and the common desire to continue to develop pedagogical practices.
Sharing experiences, questioning our practices, bringing out new ideas and building collectively: these are all steps to prepare today for the LFIB of tomorrow.
